Penn High School offers FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics for freshman and sophomores.

Penn FTC’s mission is to provide an after school environment, resources, and mentorship for high school students to take on the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). FTC requires each team to design, and build a robot over the course of the FTC season. Students have the opportunity to compete in qualifying and championship tournaments. Students gain experience in programming, building, teamwork, and mechanical design, including Computer Aided Design and manufacturing. Students reach out to their local communities and promote student robotics, awareness, and STEM in general. During the course of the season, students make sponsor calls, and talk to people (form of public speaking). Team members are expected to behave maturely and comport themselves with “gracious professionalism” on and off the competitions. All in all, Penn FTC Robotics would like to express our sincerity to all of the teams and we wish them a good luck.
