Since its foundation in 1996, The PHM Education Foundation has distributed more than $520,000 to the teachers, staff, and students of the district. Annually, the foundation hosts a luncheon to recognize the sponsors and recipients of these funds, as well as receive the State of the District overview provided by the Superintendent. Chairman’s Award & Community Outreach Programs Presentation
On Saturday, October 14th, Penn Robotics had the opportunity to present at Purdue FIRST Forums on the Chairman’s award process. The Black Knights won Chairman’s both at the district and state levels last season as well as in 2015. In 2016, we won Engineering Inspiration. On Friday, October 6, Team 135 presented their T-shirt Launcher Robot at Penn High School’s last home football game against Elkhart Central. The team launch over 25 t-shirts into the roaring crowd. Our robot successfully made a night to remember. Written by: Olivia Adam
