2005 | Triple Play

The Triple Play game field consisted of 9 goals placed in a 3×3 matrix, similar to tic-tac-toe. Teams scored points by placing red and blue game tetras in or on the 9 goals. This year was one of our team’s most successful years to date. At the Inaugural Boilermaker Regional at Purdue, we were runners-up along with Team 876, Thunder Robotics, and Team 93, NEW Apple Corps. We also won the Quality Award for our ability to score over 10 tetras on the center goal. In addition, we were regional finalists at the Buckeye Regional with Team 229, Division by Zero, and Team 1403, Cougar Robotics. This year we won our third consecutive Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Entrepreneurship Award, along with the Motorola Quality Award and the Autodesk Visualization Award. Team 135 was ranked 15th at the National Championships in the Newton Division,
