Penn Robotics visited General Stamping and Metal works June 6, 2017 to demonstrate their robot and thank them for their very gracious donation and sponsorship to our team. Team 135 gave a presentation to five employees in upper management and presented them with a framed certificate and a plaque awarded to all platinum level sponsors then demonstrated their robot. Discussions were held about functions of curtain mechanisms and how they were manufactured to fit the purpose of competing in the game. GSM then excitedly toured the group from Penn Robotics around their shop and amazing new facility. The students learned so much of the amazing future in store for them if they continue down the path of engineering and robotics as well as gained another connection to a the community.
