Nathan Cummins at Motorola Midwest Regional in (1998).

Today, May 8th, 2018 – Nathan Cummins paid a visit to the Penn Robotics Shop. Mr. Cummins was on the team during Penn’s very first season in 1998 and was a senior on the Finance sub team. Back in 1998, Mr. Cummins went with Penn Robotics to two competitions, the Motorola Midwest Regional in Chicago, Illinois and the National Championship in Orlando, Florida. He came in so that Team 135 could add his unique and rare history to our documentation and to reconnect with the team again.

He was astounded by how much FIRST and Team 135 has grown in the past 21 years. His son, Joel Cummins is in the Penn FTC program, and he cannot wait to hear the stories he will experience once he joins Team 135 in the near future.
