Jim Langfeldt
Coach
I am a teacher, Penn High School/Robotics Coach Team of FRC 135 and FTC 4600, 4601, 6360, 12091, and 12092. I've been an FRC Coach for 21 years. FTC for 7, FLL coach for 2 years a long time ago, JrFLL for two years at St. Pius. I enjoy seeing students engaged in great work that will heavily impact their future! My favorite memory involved in FIRST was winning the Woodie Flowers award in Milwaukee WI(2011) and Winning our 1st Blue Banner at Rose Hulman(2015).

Coach
I am a teacher, Penn High School/Robotics Coach Team of FRC 135 and FTC 4600, 4601, 6360, 12091, and 12092. This is my 7th season as an FRC coach and my 2nd year as an FTC coach. I coached 5 years at Plainfield (3487) I started on team 135 in 2016. I enjoy FIRST because of the Teamwork! My first competition, 2012 seeing the excitement, I was blown away. I had goosebumps for probably 30 mins, and My last competition in St. Louis, the first excitement multiplied by 1000!
Bob Stevenson
Mentor
University of Notre Dame professor in Department of Electrical Engineering. I've done 11 years involvement with FIRST - FRC Mentor, FTC Mentor, FLL Coach, and FLL Tournament Director. I enjoy experimental learning. My favorite memory of FIRST was Team 135 wining both the Chairman’s award and the robot game at the 2015 Kokomo District Event.
Bill Whiteman
Mentor
I work at JPD Controls Inc., Pres., Electronic Controls Contract Manufacture. I have been a Mentor on Team 135 from 1999 to present. I enjoy FIRST because of the process of working on a solution to meet the challenge of the "Game". It's a chance to pass along skills you have to the next generation(s) and see all of the creative and innovative ways other teams solved the problem. It's a positive & continual learning experience for students and mentors. My favorite memory was something that Woody Flowers promotes....Gracious Professionalism! Our Alliance was in the final rounds of a regional competition and our machine broke down. We used our last timeout but that was not enough time to make repairs on the field. Our opposing alliance then used their last timeout and even helped with replacement parts to get all six machines on the field for the decisive round. As it turned out our alliance won the regional. You just don't see that in other sports!
